Starting C.A.L.L. Boutique wasn’t just a decision to open a store. It was born out of something much deeper—a desire to uplift others and help them see their own beauty. Logan came to me one day and said, “Mom, I want to help people have a positive self-image.” Those words sparked months of thought and prayer. For me, this boutique is a way to stay humble and always encourage others, to love with a heart like Jesus does, and to reflect that love in everything we do. Through conversations and guidance, C.A.L.L. Boutique came to life, not as a place to simply shop, but as a mission to remind others of their worth.
Recently, I stumbled upon a song that perfectly captures our heart for C.A.L.L. Boutique: "Beautiful" by MercyMe. It has become our unofficial "mission song." The lyrics speak to a truth we all know too well—the days when we feel like we don’t have the strength, when the lies in our head tell us we’re not worth anything. That feeling, the insecurity of wondering if we’ll ever be enough or if anyone truly sees our hearts, is one we all carry at some point. The first verse says, "The days will come when you don't have the strength, when all you hear is 'you're not worth anything.' Wondering if you ever could be loved..."
I’ve been there, more times than I care to admit, but God always found a way to get me through. Whether it’s the voice of a friend, a prayer, or a quiet strength in my heart, He reminds me that I am so much more than the doubts I hold.
Growing up, we all faced moments that chipped away at our self-worth. Maybe it was the friend group that never quite let you in, the job that passed you by, or the heartbreak that made you question your value. It’s hard to quiet the voices that tell us we’re not enough. And it’s not just adults. Kids now, even at seven, eight, nine years old, are already questioning their worth.
As women, we often fixate on everything we think is wrong with us—whether it’s our weight, our hair, our skin, or our bodies. Society, and now social media, only amplifies those insecurities. I remember growing up, seeing magazines in the checkout line that seemed to set an impossible standard. Today, those standards are still there, but now they’re right on our phones, with filters and images that make us feel like we don’t measure up. The message has always been the same: we’re never quite good enough.
But here’s the truth: you are beautiful. You are more than the lies you tell yourself and more than the negative comments from others. You are sacred, treasured, and loved—just as you are.
C.A.L.L. Boutique was started with this very purpose: to let you know that you are beautiful. Whether it’s a skincare product that boosts your confidence, a new outfit that makes you feel good, or simply crossing paths with us at a vendor event—our goal is to help you see the beauty that has been in you all along.
If we’ve never sold you a single item but somehow made you feel more encouraged, more loved, or more capable of seeing the good in yourself, then we’ve done our job. As the song says, "You are meant for so much more than all of this. You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His."
So tonight, as I close this blog, I want to remind you of one thing: You are beautiful because YOU are YOU. There is no one else like you, and that’s what makes you extraordinary.
You are loved beyond measure—before you ever took a breath. Hold on to that truth. Keep it close, and when the doubts creep in, remember that you are treasured and sacred in His eyes. You are beautiful.
Love, Chandell
